Hello, and welcome to Riverstone! Finding the right provider is an essential step as you begin your healing journey. My name is Christen; I am the owner and founder of Riverstone Counseling. I earned a Master of the Arts Degree in Art Therapy & Counseling from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. I hold licensure as a Professional Counselor in Wisconsin.

Before creating Riverstone, I spent 9 years working for non-profit agencies, where I developed specialized skills in providing treatment for young children, families and adults who experienced trauma.

I am trained in Theraplay, Trauma-Informed Child-Parent Psychotherapy, EMDR, & TF-CBT.

I serve children from birth-adolescence, families, and adults. I am able to address a variety of needs, (with a specialization in serving those who have experienced trauma). I hold culture as an essential component in my work, including faith. Christian-based Counseling can be provided upon request.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and friends, hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the great outdoors.
